One of Eastbourne 's newest hotels, the boutique style Hotel Pavilion opened its doors in the spring of 2007 much to the delight of its many guests. Newly refurbished through-out and totally non smoking in all areas, hotel pavilion has received much praise for its comfort, style and cleanliness and being owner run ,guests appreciate the personal touches which ensures their stay is a memorable one.
The seafront location is perfect for the beach and for exploring the many attractions Eastbourne has to offer. The Hotel is situated 10 minutes walk from the pier and the light and airy rooms, have either fabulous sea views, or to the rear views of the Downs.
The large spacious public rooms offer stylish comfort with sleek leather sofas, beautiful soft furnishings and walls adorned with original paintings by local artists.
The bedrooms are furnished in the New England style with cool crisp bed linen and immaculate bathrooms, each of which have both a bath and a power shower. Each room has a refreshment tray, wireless high-speed Internet connection and TV. As you lie in bed you can view the sea and listen to the cry of the seagulls. Two of the rooms offer large spacious terraces where you may sit and relax and perhaps watch many of the yachts or motorboats that have sailed out of Eastbourne’s marina at Sovereign Harbour, which is the largest man made marina in Europe.
In addition to our en-suite bedroom accommodation, we also have a self contained garden flat available, which has a double, twin and single room which accommodates five, there is a sofa bed which will allow for a sixth person if necessary, a lovely sitting room with small patio with table and chairs and fully equipped kitchen included, the perfect option for guests who enjoy self catering and a little more space, breakfast is available in our dining room if required at an additional cost.
Breakfast in our sea front Cape Cod dining room is second to none, start by choosing from the days selection of fruits, array of breakfast cereals and chilled juices, to follow we have a traditional English which includes local farm eggs, finest sausages and bacon, if you are vegetarian there are organic vegi sausages. As an alternative to the full English we offer home baked American style muffins, toasted bagels with cream cheese or a choice of continental pastries. If you have special dietary requirements we are happy to help, pre notice is always helpful to enable us to source anything but usually soya milk, gluten free bread and diabetic jam are always to hand, with a separate toaster solely for the gluten free bread.
Later you may wish to enjoy a Sussex cream tea served on fine bone china or perhaps one of our light lunches from our day time menu, as you sit there in our Lloyd loom chairs, enjoying the peaceful ambience you may well feel transformed back to the genteel pace that guests first enjoyed when the hotel first opened its doors back in the late 1800's as a high class hotel.
